Pedro Galvan

Pedro Galvan, a cherished and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, in Mission, Texas, at the age of 49. Born on September 25, 1975, in Pharr, Texas, to Rodolfo and Dominga Villarreal Galvan, Pedro was a beacon of love and kindness throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo Galvan and Dominga Villarreal Galvan. 

Pedro is survived by his loving wife, Elsa Galvan, and their children: Pedro Jr., Giovanny Isai, Jonathan Yandel, Gael Nicolas, Elsie Jacquelyne, and Milan Yahir. He was a pillar of strength and joy for his family, guiding them with a gentle hand and a warm heart. Pedro's siblings, Sara Silva, Dominga Galvan, Miguel, Altagracia Rendon, Rodolfo, Estefana Galvan, Martin, Emma Leal, Jorge, Guadalupe, Evaristo, and Alma Uribe, will miss his infectious laughter and unwavering support. His extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins will forever cherish the memories they created with him.

A true Dallas Cowboys enthusiast, Pedro's passion for his team was evident to all who knew him. His loyalty and spirit were unmatched, making game days an event to remember. Pedro's character was defined by his love for people, valuing them for who they were, not what they had. He was the person you could always count on, a testament to his loving, kind, and friendly nature.

Pedro's interests were as genuine as his personality. He relished the simple pleasures in life, such as good food, the great outdoors, and making memories with his loved ones. An avid fan of action movies, he often quipped, "the faker the better," as he enjoyed the escapism they provided. Dancing the night away at a Baile or savoring a "Carne Asada" with friends and family were among his favorite ways to celebrate life's moments.

As a devoted husband, father, brother, and son, Pedro's legacy is one of unconditional love and joy. He approached life with an open heart, ready to embrace all the beauty it had to offer. His presence was a gift to those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

Pedro's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his example will remain a guiding light for generations to come. Pedro Galvan will be deeply missed, but his warmth, generosity, and the laughter he shared will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rivera Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations ,1300 N. I-69C, in Edinburg and Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pedro Galván, un hombre de familia querido y devoto, falleció pacíficamente el 26 de julio de 2025 en Mission, Texas, a la edad de 49 años. Nació el 25 de septiembre de 1975 en Pharr, Texas, hijo de Rodolfo y Dominga Villarreal Galván. A lo largo de su vida, Pedro fue un faro de amor y bondad.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Rodolfo Galván y Dominga Villarreal Galván.

A Pedro le sobreviven a su amada esposa, Elsa Galván, y a sus hijos: Pedro Jr., Giovanny Isaí, Jonathan Yandel, Gael Nicolás, Elsie Jacquelyne y Milan Yahir. Fue un pilar de fortaleza y alegría para su familia, guiándolos con una mano suave y un corazón cálido. Sus hermanos, Sara Silva, Dominga Galván, Miguel, Altagracia Rendón, Rodolfo, Estefana Galván, Martín, Emma Leal, Jorge, Guadalupe, Evaristo y Alma Uribe, extrañarán su risa contagiosa y su apoyo incondicional. Su familia extendida, incluyendo sobrinas, sobrinos y primos, atesorará por siempre los recuerdos compartidos con él.

Gran aficionado de los Dallas Cowboys, la pasión de Pedro por su equipo era evidente para todos los que lo conocían. Su lealtad y entusiasmo eran incomparables, haciendo de cada día de partido un evento inolvidable. El carácter de Pedro se definía por su amor por las personas, valorándolas por quienes eran, no por lo que tenían. Siempre se podía contar con él, prueba de su naturaleza amorosa, amable y amistosa.

Los intereses de Pedro eran tan genuinos como su personalidad. Disfrutaba de los placeres simples de la vida: una buena comida, estar al aire libre y crear memorias con sus seres queridos. Fanático del cine de acción, solía decir: “entre más falsa, mejor”, disfrutando del escape que estas películas ofrecían. Bailar toda la noche en un baile o disfrutar de una carne asada con amigos y familia eran algunas de sus formas favoritas de celebrar la vida.

Como esposo, padre, hermano e hijo entregado, el legado de Pedro es uno de amor incondicional y alegría. Enfrentó la vida con el corazón abierto, dispuesto a abrazar toda la belleza que esta ofrecía. Su presencia fue un regalo para quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo, y su memoria continuará inspirándonos y guiándonos.

La vida de Pedro fue un testimonio del poder del amor y la importancia de la familia. Su espíritu vivirá en los corazones de quienes tocó, y su ejemplo será una luz que guíe a futuras generaciones. Pedro Galván será profundamente extrañado, pero su calidez, generosidad y la risa que compartió jamás serán olvidadas.

Las visitas serán el martes 29 de julio de 2025, de 3:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., en Rivera Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations, ubicado en el 1300 N. I-69C en Edinburg, y el miércoles 30 de julio de 2025, de 12:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., con un rosario a las 8:00 p. m. La misa funeral se celebrará el jueves 31 de julio de 2025 a las 10:00 a. m. en la iglesia católica Sacred Heart en Edinburg. El sepelio será en el panteón Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
