It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pablo Z. Ramirez, born on May 17, 1934, in Mexico. He peacefully departed this life on February 7, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas, his cherished residence.
Pablo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was married to Maria Antonia Ramirez, who preceded him in death on October 9, 2025. His life was marked by his unwavering love for his family and his generous spirit.
He is survived by his children: Francisco J. Ramirez, Paulina Ramirez Moncada (deceased), Maria Antonia Ramsey (married to Quentin G. Ramsey), and Bernabe Ramirez (married to Deanna Ramirez). His grandchildren, Lauro Ruben Moncada, Karen D. Ramirez, Christian Librado Moncada, Bernie Jr. Ramirez, Alma Dela Ramirez, Ismael Pablo Ramirez, and Curtis Nathaniel Ramsey, brought immense joy to his life.
Pablo also leaves behind his beloved siblings, Aurora Ramirez Valtierra, wife of Ignacio Valtierra, and Esperanza Ramirez Cepeda. His family was his greatest pride, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Antonia Ramirez, and his dear daughter, Paulina Ramirez Moncada.
Pablo’s warmth, wisdom, and kindness touched all who knew him. His legacy of love, resilience, and faith will forever remain in our hearts.
A funeral service to honor his life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Pablo.
May he rest in eternal peace. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13,2026 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation with a Chapel Service at 12:00 PM.
Burial will take place Friday, February 13,2026 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas
