Miguel Garza Jr., age 84, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. He was born on February 3, 1942, and lived a life rooted in love for his family, simple joys, and the traditions that brought him happiness.
Miguel was a devoted father and is lovingly remembered by his children: Maria Imelda Garza, Blanca Martinez, Rosaelia Villarreal, Rocisela Hernandez, and Rolando Garza. He was also a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in each of them.
He found his greatest peace outdoors, tending to his garden and caring for his chickens, which brought him daily joy. Miguel also had a deep love for Tejano music , often filling his home with lively rhythms that reflected his spirit and heritage. A man of hearty appetite and simple pleasures, he especially enjoyed his favorite foods—hamburger steak, chile rellenos, corn dogs, tacos, and enchiladas .
Miguel will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his quiet strength, and the warmth he shared with those around him. His presence, stories, and the love he gave so freely will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
He leaves behind a legacy of family, resilience, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
