Maria San Juanita Moreno

Maria San Juanita Moreno, lovingly known as Mary, passed away on June 12, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas, the same city where she was born on January 6, 1979.

Mary was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose life was marked by love, laughter, and a deep devotion to the people around her.

Born and raised in Edinburg, Texas, She lived life to its fullest and embraced each day with a heart that was generous, spirited, and full of care for others.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Juan Antonio Moreno Vela, and her sister, Veronica Moreno. Their memory remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried her family’s love with her always. She is survived by her siblings, Sandra Moreno Carbajal, Roel Moreno, Belinda Moreno, Cynthia Padilla Moreno, and Juan Antonio Moreno Jr. and her mother San Juana Flores Moreno who will forever hold dear the bond they shared with her. Her family will remember her not only for the love she gave, but also for the joy, humor, and passion she brought into their lives.

She leaves behind a legacy of affection, resilience, and devotion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Mary’s life was a reflection of the love she shared so freely with others. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her playful sense of humor, and the strength of her spirit. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them always, finding comfort in the many beautiful moments they shared with her. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the impact of her life will remain deeply felt in the hearts of those she loved.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. May her memory bring peace to those who mourn her passing and may her life continue to be celebrated with gratitude for the love, laughter, and passion she shared so generously.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Rivera Hillcrest Funeral Home,1300 N.I-69C Frontage Rd in Edinburg from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary to start at 7:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial rites will be Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.

Services will conclude after the funeral mass.
