Luis Guerrero, a man of boundless energy and joy, passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 14, 1958, in San Juan, Texas, Luis lived a life marked by courage, love, and an unwavering faith.
Luis was a beacon of light to all who knew him, his laughter and smile as infectious as the Tejano music he so loved to listen and dance to. A true fan of the Dallas Cowboys, his passion for the team was unmatched. Luis was known among his colleagues and friends as always working but it was a trait born from his desire to provide for his loved ones and to ensure that every family gathering was a memorable one.
He lived life to its fullest, embracing every moment with a zest that was truly inspiring. Luis's courageous spirit was evident in the way he faced life's challenges, never wavering in his faith or his commitment to those he loved. His loving nature was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him through the joys and sorrows of life with an open heart.
Luis was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Guerrero, who was a cherished companion and confidante. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Calixtro and Gregoria Guerrero, and his sister, Sara Rivera and a brother in law Tomas Rivera.
Those who knew Luis will remember him as a man who was not only courageous and loving but also filled with faith. He faced life's adversities with a resilience that inspired others to do the same. His presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his absence will be deeply felt.
As we bid farewell to Luis Guerrero, we celebrate a life that was lived with purpose and joy. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family. Luis's spirit will continue to dance among us, guiding us through the rhythms of life with the same passion he brought to every step he took. He will be dearly missed, but the memories he created will forever be treasured in the hearts of those who loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved family; Wife Rosa Maria Guerrero, His children- Melisa Morin (Omar) Tamez, Krystal Lee Guerrero ( Ricardo ) Alvarez, Lindsey Michelle Guerrero ( Bernabe) Garcia, Luis Guerrero Jr., Lizbeth Berenice Cobos (Juan Jr.) Alvarez , Juan Jose Cobos and Sofia Guerrero. His grandchildren- Amalia, Eliza Irene, Bernabe Jr., Jennifer Kayla, Jason, Sebastian, Guadalupe, Miranda, Klarissa, Yandel and Ariel Lee; Eight great grandchildren. Also his siblings- Maria Carmen (Marcelino +) Turrubiates, Antonio (Adela+) Guerrero, Maria Cruz ( Julio Ibanez) Guerrero, Carlos (Martha) Guerrero, Juan Antonio (Norma) Guerrero, Jose Gustavo (Esmeralda) Guerrero, Maria Teresa Acosta, Maria Margarita (Genaro) Acosta, Dolores Guerrero (Mason) Tholl and Calixtro Jr.( Paulina +) Guerrero.
