Kai Morillon Obituary

Kai Aaliyah Morillon, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Edinburg, Texas, at the young age of 13. Born on September 2, 2011, to Kathy Perez and welcomed by her adoring stepfather Emanuel Perez III, Kai brought immeasurable joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Kai's life was marked by her infectious smile and her innate ability to make friends wherever she went. Her loving nature was the cornerstone of her relationships with her cherished siblings: Jesse Tijerina, Michael Tijerina, Deszzeria Delgado, Nathan Delgado, Nadalynn Delgado, Aiden Herrera, Kailee Morillon, Kaylynn Morillon, Emanuel Perez Jr., Matteo Perez, and Izzaiah Perez; Her maternal grandmother Paula Sanchez.

Despite her brief time with us, Kai's impact was profound. A creative soul, she reveled in the world of colors and shapes, expressing herself through her artwork and crafts. Her creativity spilled over into the digital realm, where she enjoyed making TikTok videos that reflected her vibrant personality and brought smiles to many faces.

An athlete at heart, Kai's passion for sports was evident in her love for volleyball and soccer. She played with a fierce determination and team spirit that both inspired her teammates and won the admiration of her coaches and opponents alike. On the field, just as in life, she was a true friend and a supportive team player.

Kai's legacy is one of love, kindness, and friendship. It is a testament to the person she was that these words are not merely descriptors but the very essence of her being. Her ability to light up a room and lift the spirits of those around her will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As we mourn her untimely departure from this world, we also celebrate the remarkable life Kai Aaliyah Morillon lived. Though her time with us was far too short, the memories she created are indelible and will continue to bring joy and comfort to those she left behind.

In honoring Kai's life, we remember the laughter, the joy, and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends. Kai's presence will be deeply missed, but the impact of her love and kindness will be felt for generations to come.
