Julian Vera, 77 was born on May 03, 1948 to Roman Vera and Ramona Salinas Vera in Edinburg, Texas and went with the Lord on October 25, 2025 in Edinburg, Texas. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating his dedication and service to his country.
Julian is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Vera; his children, Julie Gonzalez (Spouse Domingo Gonzalez), Veronica Vera, Gracie Vera, Martha Vega (Spouse Ivan), Cristal Cantu (Spouse Daniel Cantu †), and Adrian Michael Reyna. He leaves behind his siblings, Carolina Castilleja, Roman Vera (Spouse Edna), and Antonio Vera, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who loved him dearly. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Roman and Ramona Vera; his siblings, Daniel Vera, Carlos Vera, Benito Vera, Rodolfo Vera, and Elida V. Aguilar. Julian’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Rivera Hillcrest Funerals, 1300 N. I-69C, Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg.
