It is with heavy heart and profound sadness, that we share the passing of our mother, grandmother, Julia Tello, who departed this life, surrounded by the love of her family, on May 09, 2025, Julia leaves behind an enduring legacy of kindness and strength, and an unwavering devotion to those she cherished. Julia embraced life with a joyful, spirit, finding a unique vibrance in the Bible Psalms and Scriptures, which she passed on to her children who will forever associate special, Psalms and Scriptures, with their beloved mother. Time spent with family was Julia’s greatest treasure, as laughter and playful banter, filled their home with joy, warmth, creating memories that will be held to their hearts forever. Julia was a devoted mother to her children. Julia is survived by her loving; Son-Frank Tello Jr. Daughters-Estella Penwell. Hilda Cantu, Sylvia Najera, Odilia Aguinaga Sons in law-Frank Mendez, Jerry Penwell, Omar Cantu, Manuel Najera, Rey Aguinaga Sister- Irma Guzman Brother in law - Javier Guzman, Nephews- Robert Gomez, Freddie Gomez III, Joshua Guzman Niece-Stephanie Machuca, Grandchildren-22 Great Grandchildren-53. Julia is preceded in death by: Husband- Francisco G. Tello Daughter- Delia T. Mendez, Mother-Jose Lopez, Father-Jose Lopez, Brother-Gilberto Lopez and Mother in Law-Josefa Tello.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will be a 11:00 am.
Inurnment will follow at 1p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
