Juan Angel Ocanas Jr.

Juan Ángel Ocañas Jr., age 27, passed away on March 30, 2026. He was born on May 29, 1998, to Griselda and Juan Ocañas.

Juan was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who brought joy and laughter to those around him. He is survived by his loving parents, Griselda and Juan Ocañas, and his siblings, Dannya, Karina, and Odalyz. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Aylanni, Derrien, Gerrett, Aralynn, Alexis, and Alexander, all of whom he adored deeply.

Juan had a passion for video games and found great joy in immersing himself in worlds of adventure and imagination. He especially loved playing Dungeons & Dragons and Pokémon, hobbies that reflected his creativity, curiosity, and fun-loving spirit. Whether spending time gaming or simply being with family, Juan created meaningful memories that will be treasured forever.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him. Juan’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations in Edinburg, Texas, with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m.
