Born on June 21, 1999, in McAllen, Texas, to Rosa Maria Quinones and Martin Fuentes, Nene was a beacon of joy and laughter in the lives of all who knew him.

Nene is survived by his mom- Rosa Maria Quinones and his father Martin Fuentes, Also his siblings Erik Diaz, Reyna Diaz, Rosa Angelica Fuentes, Eduardo Fuentes, Cindy Fuentes, and Francisco Fuentes. His family remembers him as a loving son and brother who brought light and levity to their home.

Throughout his life, Nene was known for his ability to make everyone laugh. His sense of humor was one of his most cherished attributes, and it was impossible to stay mad at him for long. He had a knack for turning any situation into a moment of joy and laughter.

Nene's love for life extended to his hobbies and interests. He was an avid griller, dedicating his Sundays to perfecting his barbecue skills, even if it meant burning a few steaks along the way. Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Rivera Hillcrest Funeral Home,1300 N. I-69C in Edinburg. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial services will follow at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg.
