Israel Perez Trevino, born on June 30, 1964, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and beloved brother, Israel's legacy is one of boundless love, unwavering dedication, and joyful spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him.
Israel's journey began in the heart of a close-knit family, and he carried that sense of togetherness throughout his life. He found his soulmate in Maria Del Carmen, and together they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an ever-growing family. Their love blossomed into a beautiful tree with branches that extended to their six children: Rose Treviño-Whitaker, married to Alphonso Whitaker, parents to Olivia and Alfonso; Suleima Zapata, with her husband Maynor Zapata, and their children Liannie, Yael, and Devannie; Esmeralda Treviño; Karina Barrera, who, alongside Jose Luis Barrera, welcomed Kamila into the world; Marisol Treviño; and Israel Treviño, Jr., who, with his child Larissa, added the title of grandfather to Israel's many accolades.
Israel's siblings, Rosa Becerra, Rosbel Treviño, Idalia Cordero, and Enedelia Hernández, will remember him as the cornerstone of their family, a source of strength, humor, and wisdom. His seven grandchildren will carry forward his legacy of kindness and his zest for life, each embodying a unique aspect of their grandfather's character.
Professionally, Israel was known for his integrity and hard work, traits that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. But it was his role as a family man that truly defined him. Israel's guidance and support were the foundation upon which his family thrived. He was a mentor, a role model, and a beacon of love that shone brightly even in the darkest of times.
As we bid farewell to Israel Perez Trevino, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, a journey marked by the joy of shared moments and the quiet strength of enduring love. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely. Israel's spirit will forever be a guiding light for his family, an eternal reminder of the beauty and grace that can be found in a life well-lived.
