Isreal Garcia, born on August 25, 1959, passed away on October 24, 2024, in Edinburg at the age of 65. A graduate of Edinburg High School, Class of '77, Isreal proudly served in the National Guard Reserve during Desert Storm from 1990 to 1991.
Isreal was a man whose heart was ever open to those around him. He was known for his readiness to assist anyone in need and deeply cared for the wellbeing of his family, particularly his children and grandchildren. His life was marked by a profound dedication to his family and an unwavering support for his favorite sports team, the Dallas Cowboys. His leisure time often found him engrossed in the Bible or other books, cherishing the quiet moments of reading.
He leaves behind a loving family: his children, Isreal Garcia and his wife Roxanne, Daniel Garcia and his wife Alexis, David Garcia, and Vanessa Garcia; and his grandchildren, Arianna, Izak, Aidan, Jordan, and Alexander. He is also survived by his Garcia siblings.
A memorial service to celebrate his life and legacy will be held at Rivera at Hillcrest, located at 1300 I-69C, Edinburg, Texas, on Monday October 28, 2024 between 10AM-3PM.
