Although her brother Juan Galvan Palacios preceded her in death, her love for him remained undiminished. Gloria's parents, Fidel Palacios and Guadalupe Benevides de Palacios, who predeceased her, instilled in her the values of family and the importance of a loving home, which she upheld throughout her life with grace and vivacity.
