Feliberta "Berta" Rodriguez

Feliberta "Berta" Rodriguez, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, her 91st birthday surrounded by her loving family. She was lovingly know as "Ama".  Her life was a testament to her enduring strength and unwavering faith.

She was a cherished member of the Holy Family Catholic Church where she served as a Guadalupana since 1967. Her commitment to her faith was evident in every aspect of her life, and she was often described as a faith-filled woman whose kindness and compassion knew no bounds.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Rodriguez, her granddaughter Analyssa Marie Garcia, and great-granddaughter Ashley Renee Balderas, Ama's life of love and perseverance lives on through her extensive family. She is survived by her children: Ramiro Rodriguez, Alicia Gomez, Juan Rodriguez, Terri Uvalle, Daniel Rodriguez, Jr., Margarita Casas, Robert Rodriguez, and Javier Rodriguez, all of whom reside in Edinburg, as well as Luisa Garcia of Denton. Her legacy will continue through her 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. She is also survived by her loving sister, Saturnina Rangel.

Your life was a blessing to us all, and we are grateful for the time we had with you. May you find peace in the loving embrace of Jesus Christ surrounded by the angels and saints and reunited with your loved ones who have gone before you.

Ama, hasta mañana si Dios quiere!

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations 1300 N. I-69C Edinburg, Texas. Funeral mass will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations in Edinburg.
