Emma Garza Juarez

Emma Garza Juarez, a beacon of joy and grace, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024, in Edinburg, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and vibrant memories. Born on February 1, 1940, in Mexico. Emma's life journey was marked by her unwavering spirit and the deep bonds she formed with those around her.

Emma married the love of her life, Felix Juarez Jr., who predeceased her, and together they built a family rooted in compassion and laughter. Her dedication to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a cherished mother to Alfredo Juarez and Belinda Mandujano, a loving mother-in-law to Sergio Mandujano, and a guiding light to her son Felix Juarez and daughter-in-law Veronica Juarez. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother and showered her grandchildren, Justin Jay Mandujano and Matthew Cody Mandujano, with affection and wisdom.

Emma's passion for life was contagious. Her love for dancing was a testament to her zest for life, and she could often be found twirling around the dance floor, her laughter filling the room. Gardening was another of Emma's joys, and she spent countless hours tending to her garden, which bloomed as beautifully and vibrantly as her personality.

Those who knew Emma were drawn to her warmth and generosity. Her home was a welcoming haven where friends and family gathered, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness. Her guidance and encouragement have left an indelible mark on the lives of many, and her stories and lessons will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Emma's life was a tapestry of moments filled with love, resilience, and beauty. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we take solace in the knowledge that her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones. 

The void left by Emma's departure is immense, but the memories she created will forever be a source of solace and inspiration. Her legacy is a beautiful garden of life, nurtured by her love and blooming in perpetuity through her family and all those touched by her gracious soul. Emma Garza Juarez will be dearly missed, but her light will never fade.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. rosary, Friday, April 19, 2024 at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations 1300 N I-69C in Edinburg, Texas. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
