Briseida Cobarrubias

Briseida "Brisi" Cobarrubias, a cherished daughter, mother, sister, niece and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, in her hometown of Edinburg, Texas. Born on August 25, 2003, to proud parents Gabriel and María Cobarrubias, Briseida was a vibrant soul whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.

Brisi's life was marked by her love for her family, which was her greatest joy and priority. She was a devoted mother to her beautiful daughters, Adelynn Rose Ramirez and Leylah Juliette Ramirez, who were the light of her life. Brisi's love for her children was unparalleled, and she instilled in them the values of kindness and resilience.

Raised in a close-knit family, Brisi was the beloved sister of Axel, José, Alan, Marely, Delayla, and MariaElena. She shared an unbreakable bond with each of her siblings, and their shared memories are cherished treasures. Brisi's parents, Gabriel and María, raised her with unconditional love and support, and she carried those lessons of love and family unity throughout her life.

Her grandparents, Carlos Manzano, Ricardo and Elvia Covarrubias, held a special place in her heart. Brisi also had a profound connection with her numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who remember her fondly for the joy and laughter she brought to family gatherings.

Brisi's adventurous spirit was evident in her passion for trucking with her brothers. She found solace on the open road, embracing the freedom and the time it allowed her to reflect and dream. Her love for music was infectious, and she often shared this love with those around her, creating playlists for every occasion.

Family BBQs were a staple in Brisi's life, where she could be found playing lotería with her relatives, her laughter ringing out above the chatter. These moments, now memories, are cherished by all who were lucky enough to share in them.

Described by those who knew her as loving, adventurous, and thoughtful, Brisi's presence was a gift. She approached life with a rare combination of strength and tenderness, and her generosity knew no bounds. Brisi's thoughtfulness extended beyond her immediate circle, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand to a friend in need.

Though her time with us was far too short, Briseida "Brisi" Cobarrubias's impact will be everlasting. She leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to inspire and guide her daughters, family, and friends.

As we say goodbye to Brisi, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on through the stories we share and the love we hold for her. Her laughter, her love of life, and her unwavering spirit will never be forgotten.

A visitation and service to honor Briseida's  life will be held at a date and time to be announced, where family andn friends will gather to share memories and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who was lovedi beyond measure.

In the words of a song Brisi cherished, "The ones that love us never really leave us," and her spirit will forever be a guiding light to all who were blessed to know  her. Briseida "Brisi" Cobarrubias will be profoundly missed, but her memory will remain a beacon of love and joy to all.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations 1300 N. I-69C Edinburg, Texas. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
