Arnulfo Garza, 58, passed away on December 19, 2025, at his home in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on July 20, 1967.
Arnulfo was a loving and devoted husband who shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Serafina Soto-Garza. Their life together was built on love, commitment, and family, and he cherished every moment spent by her side.
Arnulfo had a creative spirit and a hardworking nature. He found joy in carpentry, where he worked with his hands to build and repair, and in writing poems, through which he expressed his thoughts and emotions. He also enjoyed making jewelry, fishing, and spending time caring for his roosters, activities that brought him peace and happiness.
Proceeded in death by his mother-in-law, Guadalupe Vecchio-Soto; mother, Altagracia Villarreal de Garza; son Isis Garza, father-in-law Daniel Soto Jr. and father, Federico M. Garza, Ella Garza, Aida Garza, Fred Garza, Velia Acosta, Roy Garza, Elmo Garza.
Arnulfo is remembered by his wife, Serafina Soto-Garza; his brothers, Carlos Garza, José Maria Garza, and Wilfredo Garza (Michelle Moore); his sisters, Iris Garza-Castillo (Joe Castillo) and Irma Garza-Martinez (David Martinez); Francisco Garza, José Garza, Amparo Garza, Yolanda Garza, Sylvia Garza, Rosa Figueroa and his many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him deeply.
Arnulfo’s memory will live on through the love he shared, the things he created, and the lives he touched. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the rosary to begin at 6:00 pm at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations, 1300 N. I-69C in Edinburg.
Services will conclude at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025
