EDINBURG- Armandina A. Longoria, 85, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family in Edinburg. Mrs. Longoria was preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Flores Longoria; parents, Sabino Alvarez Sr. and Ofelia Gonzalez Alvarez; stepmother, Olivia Alvarez; two brothers, Raul Alvarez Sr. and Juan Abel Alvarez; son-in-law, Juan Antonio Torres.
Mrs. Longoria is survived by her daughter, Maria Belinda Longoria Torres; two grandchildren, Amanda Lynn (Samuel) Torres and Anthoney Lee (Jasmine L.) Torres; four great-grandchildren, Samuel Aiden Torres, Matthew Syliss Torres, Jacob Korbin Torres, and Angel Manuel Torres; four sisters, Maria Guadalupe Alvarez, Martha Alvarez Gains, Eloisa Alvarez Perez, and Sylvia Alvarez Cox; six brothers, Sabino Alvarez Jr., Manuel Alvarez Sr., Alfredo Alvarez, Joel Alvarez, Javier Alvarez, and Jose Adan Alvarez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations 1300 N. I-69C Edinburg, Texas.
Funeral services are under the direction of Rivera at Hillcrest Funerals and Cremations in Edinburg.
