Andrea Teresse Anzaldua Obituary

Andrea Teresse Anzaldua, known affectionately as Dre graced the world with her vibrant presence on September 16, 1980, in Edinburg, Texas. A beacon of joy and a pillar of strength, Andrea's journey on earth came to a peaceful close surrounded by the love of her cherished family.

Born to Ronaldo and Magdalena Anzaldua, Andrea was the embodiment of her family's love and values. Her paternal grandparents, Adalberto and Celia Anzaldua, along with her maternal grandparents, Antonio and Ovidia Gonzalez, laid the foundations of the close-knit family environment that Andrea so treasured throughout her life.

Andrea's formative years were spent in the warm embrace of her family, including her sister Yvonne Veronica Sanchez and her adoring nephew and niece, Diego and Sienna Sanchez. The bond between them was unshakeable, and Andrea's role as a loving aunt was one she embraced with her whole heart.

The halls of Edinburg North High School still echo with the laughter of the Class of 1999, where Andrea's vibrant spirit left an indelible mark. She carried the lessons and friendships from those days with her as she ventured boldly into the world.

Andrea's personal life was a tapestry woven with love and joy. She found her soulmate in Vivian Sierra, and together they built a life filled with affection, laughter, and mutual respect. The couple was blessed with three daughters, Amber Nicole, Ashley Renae, and Arlysa Marie, who were the light of Andrea's life. The arrival of her granddaughter, Sinai added another ray of sunshine to her world.

Professionally, Andrea channeled her passion and creativity into her small business, Dreas Snack Shack. She was known for her strong work ethic and her knack for bringing a personal touch to everything she did. Her innate sense of style earned her the title of fashionista, a role she played with effortless grace.

Andrea's interests were as diverse as they were spirited. She loved to sing and dance, embracing the rhythm of life with every step. Traveling was one of her greatest joys, as she sought adventure in new places and experiences. A sports enthusiast, Andrea never missed a chance to cheer on her favorite baseball and football teams, her infectious smile lighting up every game day.

Those who knew Andrea will remember her for the love she radiated and the laughter she inspired. She was a woman who embraced life's adventures with open arms, and her sense of humor was a gift she freely shared with all. Andrea’s favorite quote was “Live everyday to its fullest, tomorrow is not promised.” Andrea lived by these words, always ready to embark on a new journey, a new challenge, with enthusiasm and courage.

Andrea's legacy is one of love, laughter, and adventure. Her heart of gold touched everyone she met, and her memory will be cherished by her beloved family and friends. As we bid farewell to Andrea, we hold tight to the memories she leaves behind, knowing that her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us in the days to come. Her life was a testament to the beauty of embracing each moment with a full heart, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
