Abdiel Hernandez Avila

Abdiel Hernandez, age 40, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous and long battle with
cancer.

Abdiel was born on April 20, 1985. From an early age, he carried a vibrant spirit, a strong love for his family, and a passion for sports that stayed with him throughout his life. He lived life
fully: with heart, laughter, loyalty, and deep love for those around him. Whether cheering on his favorite teams, spending time with friends, or simply being present with family, Abdiel made
every moment count.

Above all, his faith was his foundation. Even during his battle with cancer, he demonstrated strength, perseverance, and trust in the Lord. His life was a testimony of courage and hope.

He is survived by his loving partner, Karen Waldo, and his cherished stepdaughter, Heaven Aguirre. He leaves behind his father, Felipe De Jesus Hernandez, and his mother, Maria D.Hernandez.

He is also survived by his sister, Ofmara Martinez and her husband Ramiro Martinez, and their daughter, Aylssa Martinez; his brother, Felipe De Jesus Hernandez, Jr. and his wife Dora Nelly Hernandez, and their daughters Krystal, Karen, and Dora Nelly; and his brother, Oziel Hernandez and his wife Maritza Hernandez, and their children Savannah (husband Luis Capistran and their sons Javier Santiago and Jaziel Sebastian), Sydney, Sierra, and Jakob.

Abdiel was preceded in death by his sister Deyanira Hernandez as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He will be remembered for his strength, his laughter, his love for sports, and most of all, his deep love for his family and friends. Though his time here feels far too short, his impact will live on in every life he touched.

Abdiel Hernandez, de 40 años de edad, partió a la presencia de su Señor y Salvador Jesucristo el 25 de febrero de 2026, rodeado del amor de su familia, después de una larga y valiente batalla contra el cáncer.

Abdiel nació el 20 de abril de 1985. Desde joven mostró un espíritu alegre, un profundo amor por su familia y una gran pasión por los deportes que lo acompañó toda su vida. Vivió la vida plenamente con entusiasmo, entrega, lealtad y un corazón generoso hacia los demás. Disfrutaba
pasar tiempo con sus amigos y seres queridos y cada momento a su lado estaba lleno de risas y recuerdos inolvidables.

Sobre todo, su fe fue el fundamento de su vida. Aún en medio de su enfermedad, demostró fortaleza, perseverancia y confianza en el Señor. Su vida fue un testimonio de valentía, esperanza y amor.

Le sobreviven su amada compañera, Karen Waldo y su querida hijastra, Heaven Aguirre. También deja a su padre, Felipe De Jesús Hernandez y a su madre, Maria D. Hernandez.

Le sobreviven además su hermana, Ofmara Martinez y su esposo Ramiro Martinez, junto con su hija Aylssa Martinez; su hermano, Felipe De Jesus Hernandez, Jr. y su esposa Dora Nelly Hernandez, junto con sus hijas Krystal, Karen y Dora Nelly; y su hermano, Oziel Hernandez y su
esposa Maritza Hernandez, junto con sus hijos Savannah (esposo Luis Capistran y sus hijos Javier Santiago y Jaziel Sebastian), Sydney, Sierra y Jakob.

Fue precedido en muerte por su hermana, Deyanira Hernandez, así como por sus abuelos paternos y maternos.

Abdiel será recordado por su fortaleza, su alegría contagiosa, su amor por los deportes y, sobre todo, por el gran amor que tenía por su familia y amigos. Aunque su partida deja un vacío profundo, su legado vivirá en cada persona que tuvo el privilegio de conocerlo.
